Three cash scholarships of $500.00 will be awarded to three graduating seniors (male and/or female) who plan to attend a college or University and play lacrosse at this higher level of competition. The Scholarship was set up to defray the cost that can add up while playing and traveling with a collegiate lacrosse club or varsity team.

Central District:

Team ATX is an off season program that provides top notch training, competition and excellent coaching for serious players. This fall, the team will practice on Saturday afternoons and will attend two or three fall tournaments.
Team ATX is holding tryouts for all players in grades 5th-12th. ATX tryouts will be held at the University of Texas Whitaker Fields, located at 51st and Guadalupe on Sunday, October 1st. Please see www.utlacrosse.com for directions. Tryouts times for following teams will be:
11:00-12:30: Tryout for players currently in 5th and 6th grade.
12:30- 2:00: Tryout for currently in 7th and 8th grade. (Two teams)
2:00-3:30: Tryouts for Varsity and Elite teams. Players in 9th-12th. (Two Teams)
Players will be chosen by a selection committee. Criteria for selection will include, but not be limited to: skill level, athletic ability and attitude. All local players in the central district are encouraged to attend tryouts. Please bring to tryouts the completed registration form, waiver and $20 tryout fee. Checks are made payable to Texas Youth Lacrosse.
