Greg Bice (St. Mary’s Hall, Ohio State) received the New Balance Sportsmanship Award at the MLL Championships held today in Albany New York. Bice, who plays for the Los Angeles Riptide contributed outstanding defense (covering Ryan Boyle) in the Riptide’s bid to take their first MLL Championship, losing in a close contest 16-13.

The Philadelphia Barrage become the first back-to-back champions in the MLLs seventh year of existence. Announcers reported that Dallas is among the “western” cities interested in the Barrage franchise.
