Latest THSLL News
The Texas High School Lacrosse League is pleased to announce and present the new THSLL Website which will replace the old website October 1, 2010.  The new website will allow for two-way interaction and collaboration, including THSLL Newsletters, Alumni communications, and volunteering for THSLL initiatives and committees.  It opens the door for local and regional sponsorship of the THSLL, and it improves the Team information, game scheduling, and game reporting processes through a much more intuitive user interface.

The THSLL Board would like to thank its Webmaster, Chris Shaffer, for his hard work and dedication to make this new website a reality, and our State Administrator, Nancy Powers, for collaborating with Chris on the website look and feel and user interface.

The THSLL Board encourages you to communicate with your Program participants and volunteers about the website, and to ask them to visit it frequently for insights into the THSLL and your Program, and to look for current THSLL season information of interest to them.

The THSLL State Meeting will be held on September 25, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the South District at The Woodlands High School, 6101 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.

Driving Directions to The Woodlands High School

From I-45 North:

  1. Exit RESEARCH FOREST DR / TAMINA RD.
  2. Turn RIGHT onto RESEARCH FOREST DR and continue for about 3.8 miles.
  3. Turn LEFT onto CATS CRADLE DR.
  4. Arrive at 6101 Research Forest Drive

From I-45 South:

  1. Exit RESEARCH FOREST DR / TAMINA RD.
  2. Turn LEFT onto RESEARCH FOREST DR and continue for about 3.8 miles.
  3. Turn LEFT onto CATS CRADLE DR.
  4. Arrive at 6101 Research Forest Drive

Parking:

When entering the main drive of the school off of Research Forest Drive, there are visitor spots directly ahead. Otherwise, turn left upon entering and there is ample parking on the right. Parking is also available behind the building outside the cafe. Enter through the main entrance in front, once inside turn left, the LGI meeting room is down the front hall on the left.

THSLL State Championship Games - Broadcasts Scheduled on KXTA

Channel 21 KTXA Channel 21 has updated their TV listings and the THSLL State Championship games are scheduled for broadcast as follows:

The Coppell/Houston Christian game is listed for Sunday 5/16 from noon to 2 pm.

The Highland Park/St.Marks games is scheduled for Sunday 5/23 from noon to 2 pm.

Any publicity regarding the broadcast of these games should credit their website http://www.cbs11tv.com/programming and note these airtimes are "subject to change".

Jeremy organized the Beating Cancer with a Stick event in March at Kinkaid featuring a Division I NCAA lacrosse game between Notre Dame and Fairfield, in addition to three high school lacrosse games. The event brought great exposure to Texas lacrosse and raised money for the Children's Cancer Hospital at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Lacrosse and helping to cure cancer! That's quite a combination!
