DIII North District Coordinator

THSLL appoints Ray Martin as DIII North District Coordinator effective Dec.39. The DIII North District Coordinator is a new volunteer position on the THSLL Board.

Ray has been involved with lacrosse in the North District since 2003 with a son, Nicholas, (ʼ07 graduate Parish Episcopal School) a THSLL DII All-State Midfielder for Plano East and a THSLL DI Honorable Mention Midfielder for Plano West, and a son, Brandon, (Class of ʼ10 Parish Episcopal School) who plays for Hillcrest. Ray also has a daughter, son-in law, and two granddaughters who reside in North Carolina. He has been involved in North Texas youth and high school sports since 1993, coaching soccer, baseball, and lacrosse.

Ray was an assistant coach for Plano East and Plano West, and is currently assisting Coach Bill Elliott at Hillcrest. He had the privilege while being an assistant coach for Plano East to coach a THSLL state runner-up team in 2005 and a THSLL state semi-final appearance in 2005, and shared coaching honors for a THSLL DII All-Star team in 2006 with Coach Mark Purcell.

Ray works for Insight Enterprises, Inc. as a senior solutions executive where he provides IT Asset Management and Software Asset Management thought leadership and solutions for Global corporations as they strive to manage their corporate IT assets. Ray and his wife Barbara reside in Lewisville and have been Dallas residents since 1990.
