Central Catholic Lacrosse Assistant Coach Opening

Central Catholic High School Varsity Boys Lacrosse — San Antonio, TX
Position: Assistant Coach (any position)

Position Overview

Central Catholic High School is seeking an assistant coach to work alongside Head Coach Paul Taylor with our varsity and developmental teams. We are open to any position — offense, defense, goalie or faceoff. Central Catholic competes in Class C of the THSLL San Antonio District. This is a great fit for a coach who enjoys teaching the game and developing players.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the head coach in planning and running practices and games
  • Teach fundamentals, positional skills and lacrosse IQ
  • Work with individual players and position groups on skill development
  • Help build a positive team culture centered on sportsmanship and accountability

Qualifications

  • Lacrosse playing and/or coaching experience (high school, club or college)
  • Knowledge of the rules of the game (NCAA and THSLL)
  • Must pass a background check 

Time Commitment

  • Spring season:
    • Season runs Jan 1 through mid-May
  • Practices and home games at Central Catholic High School
