The Woodlands Men’s High School Lacrosse Club Board of Directors is seeking committed coaches for Varsity and JV programs.
 
Coaches are expected to be active with the program in the fall and spring. There are also summer coaching opportunities available. 
 
We will select individuals whose coaching philosophy and style are aligned with our focus on personal growth and development for our student-athletes and support the progression of the lacrosse program and committed to growing the game. Ideal candidates, possess lacrosse coaching experience, preferably having previously coached adolescents and has basic knowledge of adolescent development and learning styles. Candidates have played at the college level and able to lead, mentor and motivate current and new student athletes on and off the field. Program management and administration knowledge is also essential. Candidates will prioritize effective written and verbal skills as individual will be representing the organization with the public in various settings.

• Conduct all aspects of the program within the rules, regulations, and procedures of THSLL
• Encourage and create an atmosphere of sportsmanship, professionalism and respect among the coaching staff and student-athletes to ensure an efficient and effective program 
• Maintain a positive constructive working relationship with the Board of Directors
• Unwavering commitment to academic integrity, inclusion, diversity, student- athlete safety and welfare

Certifications, licenses and qualifications required for this position:

Background check

USA Lacrosse Coaching Certification

Successful completion of CPR and AED certifications

Education: Bachelor’s required 

Salary - competitive based on Experience
