Where will the games be played?

Are there facility restrictions?
- SEATING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE STANDS BEHIND TEAM BENCHES. All spectator seating will be on the traditional “Home” side of the field at the facility.
- No food, sunflower seeds or gum allowed on the playing field.
- Service animals are allowed inside the stadium, pets are not allowed.
- The use of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products is prohibited on HISD property.
- Firearms are prohibited.
- No cannons, confetti, or baby powder.
- No climbing on the rails.
- No throwing of balls on any internal or external walls.
Are there hotels available?
How much will it cost to get in?
- One day pass
- Adult: $15
- Senior/Student: $10
- Youth LAX Jersey: $5
- Two-day pass: $25
- Children 3 and under are free of charge
- Credit cards will be accepted.
Are credit cards accepted?
At the gate, yes.
Will there be Concessions and food vendors at the tournament?

Will T-shirts be available for purchase at the Stadium?
- T-Shirts will be available for purchase.
Will there be a program available?
- Yes, electronic programs will be available by scanning a QR code at the facility entrance.
Will there be other activities?
- We are working to get a tent onsite for Lacrosse Unlimited
What is the team check-in procedure and sideline policy?
- Upon arrival, teams will check-in at the designated area. You will receive a packet with 9 sideline passes for the team staff (outlined below) and wristbands for the players to wear if they will be in the stands while not playing.
- Each team will be allowed a total of 9 individuals that will have field access for coaching and support staff as follows:
- 4 Coaches allowed in the box
- 1 Team Trainer
- 1 Equipment Manager
- 2 Table (1 team bookkeeper and 1 spotter)
- 1 Team Photographer/Videographer Field Pass (This person needs to be identified prior to the event and should not be vocal during the game. This person will also have a designated area on the field - NOT ON TEAM SIDELINE)
- Limits on sideline access are to be adhered to and entry will be through the designated team entry gate.
- High seed is Home team and wears white jerseys. Home teams will occupy the bench to the right of the table (right of the game table facing the field).
- Water will be provided on your sidelines. Each team is responsible for having a person available to handle bottle refills during the game.
Will there be practice fields available?
- Teams will have access to a warm-up field with goals. Home teams will use Grass Field 2. Away teams will use Grass Field 1. The small turf field by the softball field is off limits (see attached map).
What is the locker room procedure?
- We will provide a Locker Room procedure in the Team Packets. Hosts will show teams where to go.
- Locker rooms will be available for both teams 30 mins prior to game start and during half time. Teams must be cleared out after half time.
- We ask that players stay in the locker rooms, no exiting into the common areas, no throwing balls in the locker room, and clean up after themselves.
Will a trainer be available?
- An on-site Memorial Herman Hospital trainer will be available during games for all teams. Teams may bring their own trainer if they would like.
Are home and visitor site administrators required?
- Site Administrators are not needed or allowed on the field since the host will handle security.
- We do ask that the fans and teams behave accordingly.
Will there be bus parking?
- Yes, there will be designated Bus parking. There will be directional signage and event staff to identify the area. Each team will also receive a map with parking clearly marked prior to the event.
Who runs the table?
- If you are using a team bus, please have the driver drop the team off at the designated team check-in area and then proceed to the bus parking area (see attached map)
Will the games be streamed online?
- No - Games will not be streamed.
Will I be allowed to take pictures or film during the games?
- Each team will be given ONE sideline pass to be used by your Team Photographer or Videographer. This pass will be distributed to the team at check-in. The designated team photographer will be allowed on the fan side sideline five yards from the sideline and not beyond goal-line extended. All other photographers may take pictures from the stands, but please be aware that standing at the front railing affects the view of those that are seated behind you. The field of play will not be accessible after the final games for personal photos. The teams will be encouraged to move off the fields where they will be accessible for family photos.
Who should I contact for a Media Pass?
- Media passes are restricted to actual media representatives and are not intended for use by commercial photographers. Agreement not to resell photographs taken under the use of a Media Pass will be required.
Will there be photos for sale?
- We are working towards obtaining a professional photographer. If one is available, information will be posted onsite.
Is there a press box available?
- Only prior approved personnel will have access. Host volunteers announcing the games and running the scoreboard and clock will have priority.
- Fans, players, and coaches are prohibited from the press box without prior approval.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
The stadium has an all-weather surface and games will not be called on account of weather bring rain gear. Umbrellas are not appropriate in the stands due to inconvenience of those seated behind you. The tournament will observe NCAA lightning Policy which requires suspension of activities when less that 30 second flash-to-bang occurs. Activities will be suspended for 30 minutes beyond the last 30 second flash-to-bang. Games may be delayed and played at night if lightning is encountered. Any changes to the posted schedule will be posted to THSLL as soon as possible.
In the event of inclement weather, the THSLL will make every effort to complete games on the day and time they are scheduled. However, coaches, parent organizations, athletic directors and fans should be aware the possible rescheduling options:
- Postponement of games later in the day due to weather delays
- Playing games earlier than scheduled to avoid anticipated bad weather later in the day.
- Shortening of warmups between games.
- Postponement of games from Saturday to Sunday including playing two games on Sunday.
What do I do about personal emergencies?
- An on-site Memorial Herman Hospital trainer will be available during games for all teams. Teams may bring their own trainer if they would like.
- For life threatening or other serious emergency, please dial 911 for Police, Medical or Fire First Responder
