Are there facility restrictions?

- Pets prohibited
- No tobacco, e-cigarettes, or alcohol allowed on the premises
- No outside food or beverage
- Clear bag policy as commonly used at most high school facilities

- Pets are prohibited, if dogs are brought to the stadium entrance will be denied. Working dogs are permitted with documentation.
- The use of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products is prohibited on all property.
- Food or colored beverages, sunflower seeds kind are NOT allowed on the turf.
- Gas powered heaters/coolers of any kind are not permitted

- Being centrally located in Dallas just north of downtown, there are plenty of lodging options for all levels of comfort, convenience, and budget. We recommend using any common internet booking application for this purpose.

What is the team check-in procedure and sideline policy?
Highland Park
- A Team Liaison/Host will be assigned to each team upon arrival. Once the team is fully present and assembled, the Team Liaison will escort the team to their assigned locker room. Except for the first game each day, teams get locker room access in the 2nd Half of the immediately preceding game.
- Highest seed for each game is the HOME team and will wear white jerseys. VISITOR will wear dark jerseys. The Home team will occupy the West bench (nearest the video board and to the right of the scorer’s table when facing the table), with the Visiting team occupying the East bench.
- Water cows or water coolers will be provided for both teams.

- Yes. Upon arrival, teams will check-in and a host will guide teams through Players’ Entrance and to the field.
- Limits on sideline access are to be adhered to and entry will be through the designated team entry gate.
- High seed is Home team and wears white jerseys. Home teams will occupy the bench to the right of the table.
- Water will be provided on your sidelines. Each team is responsible for having a person available to handle bottle refills during the game.

- 1 Team Photographer/Videographer Field Pass (This person needs to be identified prior to the event and should not be vocal during the game. This person will also have a designated area on the field- NOT ON TEAM SIDELINE).
Will there be practice fields available?
Highland Park
- Highland Park High School athletics has generously allowed us the use of the girls’ softball facility for stretching and warm-ups (throwing & catching). There will NOT be lacrosse cages on the warm-up field.
- Game start times control the warm-up field schedule with the two teams playing the next immediate game being granted exclusive use of the warm-up field. Warm-up field access begins at the start of the immediately preceding game.

- Yes- there will be practice fields available. Teams will warm up on the baseball field.
What is the locker room procedure?
Highland Park
- A Team Liaison/Host will be assigned to each team upon arrival. Once the team is fully present and assembled, the Team Liaison will escort the team to their assigned locker room. Team Liaison will remain with each team through the start of the second half of play. All teams must remove all associated gear and items from the locker room before the second half begins. Player bags and gear may be staged on the sidelines near the players’ benches.

- There will be designated locker room in the Field House for meeting, dressing, etc. before, during, and postgame. Hosts will show teams where to go.
Will a trainer be available?
A trainer is available for all teams. Teams may bring their own trainer if they would like.
Are home and visitor site administrators required?
- Site Administrators are not required or allowed on the field since the host/THSLL will handle security.
- We do ask that the fans and teams behave accordingly.

Yes, there will designated Bus parking. There will be directional signage and event staff to identify area.
Who runs the table?
The official scorebook and penalty time will be kept at the sidelines by tournament-provided personnel. Each team may have a single team book-keeper and a single spotter allowed at the table.
Will the games be streamed online?
Game On Sports will be streaming all games on Championship weekend. Links and live video can be found on the main page of THSLL.org
Will I be allowed to take pictures or film during the games?
- NO VIDEO EQUIPMENT IS ALLOWED ON THE FIELD. Game On Sports controls all video broadcast rights.
- Teams may film from the stands using a single tripod. Access to the press box for team filming is not allowed.
- Each team will be granted ONE sideline pass to be used by your team photographer or videographer.
- The designated team photographer will be allowed on the fan side sideline five yards from the sideline and not beyond goal-line extended.
- Handheld photography and videography is permitted by all fans in the stands.
- Tripods are only permitted in the upper rows of the stands and must not obstruct the viewing of any spectators.
- The field of play will not be accessible after the final games for personal photos. The teams will be encouraged to move off the fields where they will be accessible for family photos.

Media passes are restricted to actual media representatives and are not intended for use by commercial photographers. Agreement not to resell photographs taken under the use of a Media Pass will be required.
Will there be photos for sale?
Photos will not be for sale.
Is there a press box available?
- Only prior approved personnel will have access. Host volunteers announcing the games and running the scoreboard and clock will have priority.
- Fans, players, and coaches are prohibited from the press box without prior approval.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
The stadium has an all-weather surface and games will not be called on account of weather bring rain gear. Umbrellas are not appropriate in the stands due to inconvenience of those seated behind you. The tournament will observe NCAA lightning Policy which requires suspension of activities when less that 30 second flash-to-bang occurs. Activities will be suspended for 30 minutes beyond the last 30 second flash-to-bang. Games may be delayed and played at night if lightning is encountered. Any changes to the posted schedule will be posted to THSLL as soon as possible.
In the event of inclement weather, the THSLL will make every effort to complete games on the day and time they are scheduled. However, coaches, parent organizations, athletic directors and fans should be aware the possible rescheduling options:
- Postponement of games later in the day due to weather delays
- Playing games earlier than scheduled to avoid anticipated bad weather later in the day.
- Shortening of warmups between games.
- Postponement of games from Saturday to Sunday including playing two games on Sunday.
