Offensive Coordinator and Varsity Defensive Coordinator Openings
Dripping Springs High School is a 6A public high school located at the edge of the Texas Hill Country. With a large and growing population, so is the growth of lacrosse in Central Texas Drip Lacrosse is in its 15th and is looking for an Offensive Coordinator and a Defensive Coordinator for the varsity program.
The preferred candidates will have:
- high lacrosse IQ
- ability to install offense and defense
- strong organizations skills on the field
- good rapport with high school athletes
- prior coaching experience
- collegiate level play
- positive attitude and motivation at practices and games
- strong communication skills
- ability to prepare film for players to review
- experience in game day planning and management
Candidates must have a valid US Lacrosse coaching membership. Fall lacrosse (October – December) will consist of 2 evening practices a week and 2-3 Texas tournaments. The spring lacrosse (January – May) schedule will include 3-4 evenings of practices along with games in Austin, Dallas and Houston areas. Opportunity to coach summer club team – with games/tournaments not limited to Texas.

All applicants that meet the minimum requirements, not selected for an interview, or interview and not selected for the position will be notified of their status. Recommended applicants will be required to interview with the DSHS Boys Lacrosse Board selection committee. Before a contract is extended, the final candidate will undergo a background check as a conditional offer of employment.
Salary will be discussed, but competitive based on experience level.
