For the third year, Beating Cancer with a Stick will bring together the Houston Lacrosse community to watch a fantastic lacrosse game while raising funds for The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Children’s Hospital.

The Greater Houston Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals has recently recognized Beating Cancer with a Stick as the outstanding fundraising event (under $250,000 category)

This year’s game marks the 3rd time ever a Division I lacrosse game has been played on Houston turf -several thousand lacrosse enthusiasts are expected to attend.

Text-to-donate opportunities will be launched in the Spring through social media and at the game.
