Cedar Ridge High School Boys' Asst. Coach

 (Varsity).  Available: September 2015.  Deadline: September 30, 2015. 

Cedar Ridge High School is seeking an assistant lacrosse coach for its varsity program. This is a coaching-only position. We have a great group of players returning and very supportive parents. Cedar Ridge competes in the central Texas DI District. Candidates with offensive experience playing at the college level or coaching at the high school level will be given priority.

Candidates MUST:

  • Serve as a positive role model while effectively motivating and developing high school players on and off the field.
  • Represent Cedar Ridge High School in a positive manner on and off the field.
  • Plan and oversee all varsity team practices and games. This includes game planning, breaking down film, and scouting opponent’s games.
  • Communicate effectively with the coaching staff and players.
  • Work in a collaborative manner with the head varsity coach.

Cedar Ridge High School Boys' Head Coach

 (JV).  Available: September 2015.  Deadline: September 30, 2015. 

Cedar Ridge High School boy’s lacrosse program, which competes in the central Texas DI District, is seeking a committed and experienced JV head coach for the 2015-2016 season. We have a great group of returning players and very supportive parents. This is a coaching-only position. Qualified candidates should have prior coaching and preferably collegiate level playing experience.

The job responsibilities of the JV head coach include the following:

  • Serve as a positive role model while effectively motivating and developing high school players of varying levels of ability and experience.
  • Plan and oversee all JV team practices, games, and team functions.
  • Communicate and implement injury awareness and monitor player injuries and rehabilitation
  • Communicate effectively with the coaching staff and the Cedar Ridge High School Lacrosse Board.
  • Be familiar with and comply with league rules and maintain positive working relationships with the league.
