Allen Lacrosse Job Opening: HS Assistant and 7/8 Head Coach

The Allen Eagles Lacrosse Club (AELC) is seeking a High School Assistant and 7/8 Head Coach for the fall of 2023 and spring of 2024. Looking for energetic coaches with a strong lacrosse background and acumen, who want to teach and mentor young athletes, and contribute to the growth of the AELC lacrosse program. 

Positiona vailable: 

  • HS Assistant and 7/8 Head Coach

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Previous lacrosse coaching experience preferred 
  • Strong leadership abilities 
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of the rules of the game 
  • Lacrosse playing experience (NCAA, MCLA, JUCO, High School) 

Essential Functions: 

  • Fall program: 2x week for 7 weeks plus 2 playdays and 2 tournaments
  • Spring program: beginning in mid-January and ends late April 
  • Communication with families and players throughout both seasons 
  • Game day planning and management. 
  • Assist the HS head coach in all aspects of the program during practice and game day 
  • Working with program director: Nick Blumer to ensure our methodology is consistent 

Salary: To be discussed, but competitive based on experience level. Candidates must pass a state mandated background check.
