Episcopal School of Dallas Coaching Positions

Part-Time Seasonal Position's Available: 
  • Varsity Offensive coordinator
  • Varsity Assistant Coach- Run substitution box, Work with goalies and F/O men 
  • JV Head Coach 
  • MS Coach
Purpose: The Episcopal School of Dallas is has multiple lacrosse positions available for the spring of 2019. Looking for energetic coaches with a strong lacrosse background who want to teach and mentor young athletes and contribute to the growth of the ESD lacrosse program. Candidates should have demonstrated ability to lead young athletes, and have a thorough knowledge of lacrosse, skill development, and coaching techniques. Must attend all practices and competitions and manage aspects of the program assigned by the varsity head coach.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous lacrosse coaching experience preferred
  • Previous college lacrosse playing experience required for High School Coaching positions
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of the rules of the game
  • Ability to successfully communicate with student-athletes, parents and members of the ESD athletic department
  • Strong leadership and coaching presence
Essential Functions: 
  • Positively represent The Episcopal School of Dallas, along with appropriate supervision at all times
  • Be on time to all required coaching responsibilities
  • Manage game day logistics- lineups, substitutions, strategy 
  • Development and implement daily practice plans.
  • Extended game responsibilities dependent on schedule.
  • Encourage and train the participants of the MS boys lacrosse team (Grades 7 & 8) - MS Coaching Position only
