Stony Point Tigers Lacrosse Head Coach Opening

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lacrosse Coach to lead our team to success. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sport and a proven track record of coaching and developing players. As the Head Coach, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs, developing game strategies, and providing guidance and support to players. Responsibilities:

Teach and instruct players on the rules and strategies of lacrosse Develop and enhance players' skills, including passing, catching, shooting, and defending

Organize and supervise team practices, scrimmages, and games Monitor and promote players' academic progress and behavioral conduct

Create game strategies and manage the team during competitions Collaborate with assistant coaches and team staff to organize team events

Recruit and retain talented players to join the team

Communicate with players, parents, administration, and external stakeholders regarding team updates and performance 

Provide a safe and respectful environment for all players to learn and grow in the sport

Requirements:

Experience in coaching and playing lacrosse

Ability to teach and instruct players of various skill levels

Knowledgeable of the rules and strategies of lacrosse Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills Availability to work evenings and weekends for practices and games

Job Opening: High School Lacrosse Assistant Coach

Location: Concordia Lutheran High School, Tomball, TX

Schedule: Weekday Afternoons | Fall Start – May

Concordia Lutheran High School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Lacrosse Coach to support our growing high school program. This is a part-time, after-school position starting in the fall and running through the spring season in May.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with practices and games for both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams

Collaborating with the head coach and other staff to plan and lead skill-building drills, team strategy, and game-day preparation

Offering guidance and mentorship to student-athletes

Helping foster a positive, Christ-centered team culture

Adapting to evolving team needs with flexibility and professionalism

Qualifications:

Previous lacrosse playing and/or coaching experience required

Availability on weekday afternoons during the school year

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a coaching team

Passion for working with and developing high school athletes

We’re looking for a coach who is resourceful, dependable, and committed to supporting student-athletes both on and off the field. Experience working with high school students and a willingness to assist with both varsity and JV teams is essential.
