Field
- The field is 70 meters by 36 meters, which is about 30% smaller than a traditional lacrosse field
- All lines on the field are 50 millimeters (2 inches) wide
Game length
- The game is made up of four eight-minute quarters
- If the game is tied after regulation, there are multiple three-minute sudden death periods
- There is a 15-minute halftime intermission
Players
- Each team has 12 players, and everyone plays both offense and defense
- All runners carry short-sticks and move as midfielders
Shot clock
- There is a 30-second shot clock, which is the fastest in lacrosse
Face-offs
- Face-offs only occur at the beginning of each quarter and overtime
- After a goal is scored, the goalie restarts play by clearing the ball to his teammates
Other rules
- There are no long crosses
- Shots are officiated like passes
- A missed shot that sails out of bounds belongs to the defense
