Plano Lacrosse Assistant Head Varsity and Head Junior Varsity Coach Opening

We are looking for an energetic coach with a strong offensive lacrosse background who wants to teach and mentor young high school athletes and contribute to the growth of the Plano Lacrosse program. 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the head Varsity coach in all aspects of the program during practice and game day along with being the head JV coach
  • Anticipate 3 practices per week and 2 tournaments in fall
  • Anticipate 4 practices plus 1-2 games per week in the spring
  • Working with head coach Easton Ellis to ensure consistent methodology

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous lacrosse coaching experience preferred
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of THSLL (Texas High School Lacrosse League) rules
  • Lacrosse playing experience (NCAA, MCLA, High School)
  • Faceoff experience preferred, but not required
