Position Title: Youth Lacrosse Head Coach & Assistant Coach
Season Dates: Mid-January – End of April
Department: Athletics
Location: Parish Episcopal School, Dallas, TX

Position Overview:
Parish Episcopal School is seeking qualified and motivated individuals to serve as Youth Lacrosse Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for grades K–8. These positions are responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering age-appropriate lacrosse instruction while fostering a positive, inclusive, and developmentally focused team culture.

Candidates with additional availability may also be considered for supplemental coaching responsibilities within the Varsity Lacrosse Program.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in the instruction, supervision, and development of student-athletes in grades K–8.
• Implement practice plans that emphasize skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and safety.
• Manage and monitor players during practices, games, and team events.
• Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and school staff.
• Maintain compliance with school policies, league regulations, and safety standards.
• (Optional) Support Varsity Lacrosse practices as schedule allows (Monday–Friday, 4:30–6:30 PM).

Work Schedule

• 3rd/4th & 5th/6th Grade Teams: Practices two times per week, 4:00–5:30 PM
• K–2nd Grade Teams: Practice one time per week, 4:00–5:30 PM
• Games: Held on weekends throughout the DFW metroplex; approximately 8–14 games per season

Qualifications

Required:

• Prior coaching experience at the youth, club, high school, or collegiate level
• Strong knowledge of lacrosse fundamentals, rules, and safety practices
• Ability to work effectively with children and parents
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Previous playing experience
• Experience coaching multiple age groups
• Availability to assist the Varsity program

Compensation

Salary is commensurate with experience.
