Westlake High School (WHS) Boy’s Lacrosse is seeking committed coaches for their DI Varsity and JV programs. WHS Boy’s Lacrosse is a growing program with more than 90 high school players. The feeder program, Westlake Youth Lacrosse League, has more than 350 youth players. WHS Boy’s Lacrosse strives to compete at the highest level of Texas High School lacrosse, as well as nationally, and were the Texas High School Lacrosse League Central District Champions for 3 consecutive years.
We have two open positions: Varsity DI Assistant Coach and JV Assistant Coach. We are seeking offensive minded coaches but will take the best candidates regardless of position.
Coaches are expected to be active with the program in the fall and spring. There are also summer coaching opportunities. Fall is roughly 6 weeks and spring is roughly 3.5 months.
We will select individuals whose coaching philosophy and style are aligned with our focus on personal growth for our student-athletes. Ideal candidates possess lacrosse coaching experience, preferably having previously coached at the high school level and/or played at the college level and are motivated to support our continued growth.
