Location:              Hebron Lacrosse Association “HLA”, Carrollton, TX (North Dallas Suburb)
Positions:             High School Defensive Coach/ JV Head Coach & 7/8 Grade Coach
Timing:                 Fall 2015/Spring 2016 season with multi-year opportunity
Deadline:              August 31, 2015
 
Hebron is a growing lacrosse program with quality players, a supportive board and a strong lacrosse community.  We are seeking additional coaches with strong lacrosse experience and coaching success to join our coaching staff. 
 
In addition, candidates must pass a background check and adhere to a coach's code of conduct.
 
Successful candidates will have:

• High level lacrosse playing and coaching experience
• Successful coaching experience at the appropriate age levels
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for the game and strong desire to grow a program its highest potential
• Positive coaching style focused on developing players both on and off the field
• Desire and willingness to help develop and support other coaches within the program

 
Key responsibilities:

• Develop lacrosse players and teams to their upmost ability
• Plan, prepare and conduct team practices
• Lead program defensive strategy (Youth thru HS)*
• Be a positive influence and role model to players both on and off the field
• Attend and coach all practices, games and tournaments for assigned teams
• Commit to the player’s and program’s success
