Trinity Valley School Lacrosse Program has openings for High School JV & Varsity Assistant roles. Trinity Valley School (aka TVS) encourages qualified individuals to consider coaching with us for next spring season in 2025. TVS is seeking energetic coaches with a strong knowledge of lacrosse, skill development, and coaching techniques, as well as a demonstrated ability, to lead and inspire young athletes. We are particularly looking for candidates that are positive-minded and encouraging to serve as upstanding role models.

TVS Lacrosse wants to continue to preface the goal of developing leadership abilities while fostering team spirit among the student-athletes at Trinity Valley School. We will always promote the development of the game of lacrosse throughout the local community by providing an organized, respectful, safe, team-oriented program that allows our players the necessary environment to develop the skills to be a competitive program while building the characteristics of good sportsmanship and strong character.

Essential Functions: Represent Trinity Valley School throughout the lacrosse community in a positive, professional manner at all practices, scrimmages, games, and events. Lead a team of young men and continue to help them grow their love for the sport. Act as a role model and foster an environment of respect, tolerance, integrity, and sportsmanship. Be prepared and punctual for all coaching responsibilities. Be prepared for game day logistics: lineups, substitutions, strategy. Help to develop and implement daily practice plans to effectively motivate and train athletes in collaboration with the TVS JV and Varsity Head Coach(es). Spring program: beginning in early January of 2025 and ending in late April, or early May of 2025 (approximately 5-6 events per week)

Qualifications & Skills: Previous coaching experience. Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional, positive, and respectful relationships with student-athletes, coaches, officials, parents, and members of the TVS community. Willing to coach within a system that continues to ensure all TVS players are ready for the next level within the program and ultimately following graduation should they wish. Remain aware of all legal liabilities related to all athletic activities and ensure a safe environment for all athletes. Complete knowledge and understanding of the rules of the game (NCAA, SPC and THSLL) 

Previous lacrosse playing experience (NCAA, MCLA, JUCO, or experience as a High School JV or Varsity coach)

Salary: To be discussed, based on experience level. Candidates must pass a state mandated background check and be a USA Lacrosse member prior to hire.
