Atascocita Lacrosse Assistant Coach Openings

Atascocita Lacrosse has an immediate opening for an Assistant Coach for both Varsity and JV alongside Head Coach Travis Cottle for the 2026 season.  

We are looking for an energetic coach with a strong offense and defense lacrosse background who wants to teach and mentor young high school athletes and contribute to the growth of the Atascocita Lacrosse program. 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous lacrosse coaching experience preferred
  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Complete knowledge and understanding of the rules of the game & THSLL
  • Lacrosse playing experience (NCAA, MCLA, JUCO, High School)
  • Faceoff experience preferred, but not required

Essential Functions:

  • Communication with the Atascocita Lacrosse Board, coaches and players throughout the season
  • Assist with game day planning and management.
  • Assist the head coach in all aspects of the program during practice and game day
  • Anticipated 3-4 practices per week plus 1-2 games per week
  • Working with head coach Travis Cottle to ensure our methodology is consistent
