Westwood High School's lacrosse team is looking for motivated and qualified coaches to join our staff. Westwood has fielded a competitive club lacrosse team for over 20 years with a legacy of success, including multiple appearances in the state semifinal and championship games. With our success has come considerable growth.

This year, we anticipate having a large number of junior varsity level players, so we will field two JV Teams. Qualified coaching applicants have the opportunity to be named JV Head Coach for one of these teams. This is a great opportunity for an experienced assistant coach to move into a position of managing an entire team.

Applicants should find coaching to be a personally rewarding experience, be able to focus on teaching fundamental skills to players with a wide variety of playing experience, be motivated to see their players develop to compete at the varsity level, and enjoy collaborating with a team of other coaches. NOTE: Bonus stipends are available for those coaches who have the desire and time to coach a middle school team (5th-8th grade) in the Spring in addition to the high school team. We are located in Northwest Austin, and, like most teams in the area, our practices usually take place shortly after normal business hours. Please reach out with any questions.
