Central District News

*** Central District Championships Update ***

The Central District Championships start next week with the Division I Championships.  On Tuesday April 19 Semi-Final games will be played between the Top 4 teams – Anderson, Austin, Westlake, and Westwood.  Match-ups are not finalized since there are key games yet to be played.  The Championship and consolation game will be played on Thursday April 21.  Both nights are at House Park with games to start at 6 and 8.  There is an admission of $3 for Adults, $1 for Students. All youth lacrosse players will be admitted free if they have their team jersey / shirt on.  There will be a full line of food and beverages offered so come enjoy two evenings of great lacrosse.

 

The Division II Championships will be held in conjunction with the DI Super Regional event that is on Saturday April 30, and Sunday May 1.  The two DII Semifinal games will be on Saturday at 10 and 12, followed by two DI matchups of the top teams from Austin, Houston, and DFW at 2:30 and 5:00.  Sunday will start off with two more DI games at 12:00 and 2:30 and then finish with the Central District DII Championship game at 5:00.  Both days are at House Park.   Admission is $5 for Adults, $2 for Students and all youth lacrosse players will be admitted free if they have their team jersey / shirt on.  Come enjoy some competitive lacrosse and encourage all the area youth players to attend.
