About Pearland Lacrosse: Pearland Youth Lacrosse is a non-profit organization committed to providing the best lacrosse experience to kids from grade K through 12 (2U, 4U, 6U, 8U and HS). Throughout all age groups, we focus on developing stick skills, lacrosse IQ, conditioning and sportsmanship.

We have the following positions available.

Head Varsity Coach:

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparing and executing practice plans that instruct players on and develop stick skills, passing, shooting, positioning and game situations.
  2. Developing and implementing offensive and defensive game plans.
  3. Providing coaching and feedback for every player, to help all players reach their full potential.
  4. Game management - player substitutions, strategic decisions
  5. Analyze opponents to prepare for each game, and analyze game film to maximize team performance.
  6. Build a culture of positivity centered on teamwork, sportsmanship and communication.
  7. Insuring the safety of the players during practices and games by enforcing rules, providing supervision and addressing injuries promptly.
  8. Complete required paperwork, maintain records and work with coaches of other teams to schedule games and scrimmages.
  9. Motivate and encourage players to work hard and strive for excellence on and off the field.

Assistant Varsity Coach -

The assistant coach will be responsible for assisting the head coach with all aspects of managing the lacrosse program, including coaching, executing practice plans and player development.

8U Coach
