Highland Park Youth Coaches needed

Highland Park Boys Lacrosse is actively seeking coaches for the Youth level program for the 2009-2010 fall and spring seasons.

Players range in age from 5th through 8th grade (ages 10yrs - 14yrs). The HP program has over 175 kids participating at this level across 7 teams.

The objective of the program is to develop basic lacrosse skills both individually as well as in game situations within a well defined system, preparing the kids to enter the High School program. This is a paid position, commensurate with experience and commitment level, but also must be viewed as a labor of love!

Requirements include: Deep lacrosse experience both playing and coaching; preferably up through the collegiate level

Ability to work within a defined system

Ability to lead by example with a disciplined approach and good communication skills with parents

High integrity and values with a heart for kids!
