Pat Bill, wife of Coach Earl Bill for almost 49 years, passed away yesterday after a long illness.  Many of you knew Pat through playing for Coach Bill and saw her demonstrate strength and courage fighting the symptoms and problems with muscular distrophy which she battled most of her life.  The two made a strong pair on the sidelines coaching and keeping score for games and supporting the boys on the team.  Coach Bill was recently recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Texas High School Lacrosse League and that Award will be named for him and presented in the future to deserving individuals who meet that standard.  Services for Pat will be held next Tuesday at the St. Helena Church in San Antonio.  Questions about any arrangements or how to pass along condolences can be addressed to Evan Whelchel who played for Coach Bill at St. Mary’s Hall.  Evan can be reached at evan.whelchel@gmail.com
