Central District News

Central District Announces Postseason Honors
Posted on April 30, 2012

The Central District is pleased to announce this year's Postseason Awards recognizing the top players from the area. Join us in congratulating the efforts and accomplishments of these young men.

  
Other awards are:
   
Coach of the Year - Evan Whelchel of Westlake who led his team to an undefeated District record and District Championship.
 
Assistant Coach of the Year - Kyle Loda of Austin who helped lead the Maroons to the #2 seed in the North Super Regional.
  
Person of the Year - Al Picazo who has been a Central District Coordinator for 8 years. He is also a co-founder of New Horizons Lacrosse which targets disadvantaged youth in the Austin area.
