North District News

North District Division II Playoffs

1) Four teams will be eligible for the DII post season regional playoffs. The winner of each regional playoff will proceed to the State Championship.

2) The top 4 teams from each region in the North District, East and West, are eligible for post season play to be played on Monday, April 27 following the end of season, as follows. Seeding will be determined as in past years based on the guidelines in the THSLL Rulebook. The top seeds (Seed 1 and Seed 2) from each region will be the home/host team.

Game 1 – Hillcrest vs Colleyville (h)
Game 2 – Parish vs McKinney (h)
Game 3 – Flower Mound vs Frisco (h)
Game 4 – Greenhill vs HP (h)
 
3) The winners of these 4 games qualify for Regional Playoffs the following weekend.

4) In order to determine seeding of these 4 teams for the Regional Playoffs, the coaches from the 8 qualifying teams will determine the district rankings at the scheduled post-season coaches meeting on Saturday, April 25. Each of the 8 coaches will rank those teams 1 through 8 at the Saturday meeting. Votes will be tallied to determine the seedings for the following weekend. Once the Monday games are complete, we will immediately know seedings and in which regional each team will be playing.
